Legal Associate at FIACO

Ms. Nur Iylia Nabilah Anuar graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) from Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Kuala Terengganu, in 2024. She subsequently commenced her pupillage with Messrs. Farid Izzati Ain & Co., gaining exposure to various areas of legal practice before pursuing her career in conveyancing.

During her pupillage under the guidance of Mr. Faridzul Bin Abdu Rahim, Ms. Iylia gained practical experience in general civil litigation, conveyancing and corporate advisory work. Her involvement included assisting with court documents, conducting legal research, drafting agreements and participating in client consultations. This exposure helped her develop an appreciation of both contentious and non-contentious legal matters.

On 11 August 2026, Ms. Iylia was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. Following her admission, she was retained by the firm as a Legal Associate in the Conveyancing Department, where she continues to develop her practice alongside the firm’s conveyancing team.

In her current role, Ms. Iylia focuses on conveyancing matters, drawing on the research, drafting and case management skills developed during her pupillage. She aims to help clients understand the documentation and procedures involved in their transactions, with an emphasis on clear communication, careful preparation and practical guidance throughout the process.

Ms. Iylia is committed to building her practice through continuous learning, professional integrity and attention to detail. Having progressed from pupil to associate within FIACO, she shares the firm’s commitment to personal attention and practical legal solutions, while continuing to strengthen her knowledge and contribute to the team.
